Well, WWE Fastlane is in the books, and just like many of us thought, it was a rather predictable show. There were a lot of rumors swirling about how WWE would use Fastlane to set up the RAW matches for WrestleMania, and most of those rumors turned out to be true…to an extent.
On the show tonight, we saw every RAW title except the US Title defended (but Chris Jericho did make an appearance tonight), and the groundwork was laid for the next four weeks as RAW gears up for WrestleMania. I may have done some things differently, but I am not Vince McMahon, and my opinion doesn’t matter to the WWE.
But, that doesn’t mean I am going to hold back here. I never do, so why start now??
So, what all happened tonight? Did WWE manage to surprise anyone with anything at all? Any comebacks? Any swerves? Was the groundwork for WrestleMania laid properly? Did they piss the WWE Universe off? Depending on who you talk to, they did all of these things and ever so much more.
And, without any further ado, let’s get on to the WWE Fastlane results and a review of the five major things we took away from RAW’s final stop on The Road To WrestleMania.
