It’s Monday, and you know what that means. Yep, it’s time for our WWE RAW preview. The flagship show’s crew is done with the two-week European Tour, back on US soil, and will be coming to us live from Newark, NJ, tonight. Needless to say, I am not expecting much after the last several weeks’ worth of subpar (for the most part) shows, and I’m sure the jet lag everyone will be feeling won’t help matters much.

When we last left our heroes and heroines in London last week, Braun Strowman was written off television due to an elbow injury, Emma was sent home due to a shoulder injury, and Miz and Ambrose were squabbling over being co-General Managers for the night. Yeah, it was kind of a cluster.

So, what’s on tap for this week??

1. Speaking Of Miz & Ambrose….

We’ve got ourselves an Intercontinental Championship match tonight. The Miz and Dean Ambrose will face off for the title in what should be RAW’s main event, and these two always manage to put on a good match together.

While I love Ambrose, he is in desperate need of….something. Repackage him. Turn him heel. Stop making him a goofy, jokey guy. That’s not Ambrose. Let him loose and let him shine. He’s WWE’s damn workhorse, and he needs a character that reflects that. This lunatic BS has run its course, and it’s time for a little Moxley to seep through. Give Miz the IC Title (and feud him with Finn since Bray may be otherwise occupied), give Ambrose some time off television, and bring him back as the badass he should have always been.

2. Braun Is Smashed…Well, At Least His Elbow Is

Braun Stroman is out for around 2 months with an elbow injury, and WWE is scrambling to figure out what to do with Roman Reigns, Brock Lesnar & the Universal Title, Extreme Rules, and Great Balls Of Fire.

Brock was written off television last week, and now everything is up in the air. The impending Bray Wyatt/Finn Balor feud is up in the air as WWE considers putting Bray with Roman (again). The planned Extreme Rules main event between Reigns and Strowman is off, and Brock’s planned title defense against Strowman at Great Balls Of Fire has been nixed.

Rumor is that there are plans in place, so hopefully, WWE has come up with something and lays the groundwork for everyone’s new storylines on tonight’s show.
