NXT promises a lot of action this week, with three matches plus a segment with women’s champion Asuka already announced. With football season starting tomorrow, perhaps NXT is following the main roster’s lead and firing all their ammunition at once (see No Mercy) in the hopes of keeping viewer’s interest through the Fall. I suppose that’s not a bad thing for fans though, right? Here’s five reasons to tune in tonight.

#5 Gone But Not Forgotten

In what’s been the worst keep secret WWE has kept in some time (heck, they didn’t even keep it, they announced it on Twitter), Asuka will relinquish her women’s title tonight. We know the women’s champion is out with a broken collarbone and not likely to return until late October at the earliest. Tonight we get to witness her farewell to Full Sail.  It will be interesting to see if the announce team presents this as a permanent goodbye or teases that she will be back to reclaim her gold. Most signs point to Asuka taking her talents to the main roster, but perhaps she’ll hang around to put over her successor.
