It’s Wednesday, and that means it’s time for our WWE NXT preview. The road to NXT TakeOver Philly has already begun, and the fallout from WarGames is still being felt. With Drew McIntyre on the shelf due to an injury well into next year, things are being shaken up a bit in NXT, so let’s take a look at what’s on tap for tonight.

1. Championship Celebration

Andrade Almas and Zelina Vega are sure to have some sort of party planned for his NXT Title win, and it’s bound to take up a lot of time on tonight’s show. Not that I am complaining, because these two are great.

2. Fatal Four Way Announcement

Since McIntyre cannot compete in Philly, General Manager Regal has decided to have a series of matches that culminate in a Fatal Four Way to determine the new number one contender to Almas’ title. The first match will happen tonight when the perfection that is Trent Seven takes on Killian Dain.

The Women Clash

3. Ruby Riott and Sonya Deville clash in a match that pit the new factions on the main roster, The Riott Squad and Absolution, against each other. It’s unclear at this time if these women will continue to work double duty with both the main rosters and NXT.

Another Qualifier

4. Johnny Gargano and Kassius Ohno clash to earn a spot in the #1 Contender Fatal Four Way.

Make sure to tune into NXT on WWE Network at 8 pm EST tonight and as always, we will have a full recap of the show as soon as it is in the books.
