It’s Tuesday, so that means that it is time for our WWE SmackDown Live preview. Last week saw General Manager Daniel Bryan put WWE World Champion AJ Styles in a Handicap Title Match against Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn. Needlesss to say, this did not sit too well with Styles nor with SmackDown Commissioner Shane McMahon.

So, with all of the drama from last week, let’s get to the down and dirty of what the blue brand has on hand for us tonight.

1. Becky Lynch Returns

After several weeks away filming a movie, Becky Lynch returns to SmackDown Live tonight to take on Ruby Riott. After several weeks of taking out the rest of the blue brand’s women, can The Lass Kicker finally be the one to get the upper hand with The Riott Squad?

2. Hype Bros Clash

The US Title Tournament continues tonight with the last match of the first round taking place when former teammates Mojo Rawley and Zack Ryder face off. There’s not a lot of love lost between these two, so this one could get a bit nasty.

3. AJ’s Royal Rumble Dilemma

Last week, all hell broke loose at the end of AJ Styles’ match with Sami Zayn. Daniel Bryan decided to make AJ’s title defense at the Royal Rumble a handicap match against both Zayn and Kevin Owens. AJ was pissed off. Shane McMahon looked extremely confused, and so tonight could see some big old fireworks between Bryan and McMahon

4. The Ascension and The Bludgeon Brothers

These two teams face off this week, and in all honesty, I don’t care. There’s nothing to get invested in, so I am not going to.

5. Tag Team Title Turmoil

Last week saw Chad Gable and Shelton Benjamin “win” the SmackDown Tag Team Titles, but it turned out that there was a little “twin magic” involved as the wrong Uso was pinned. The match was restarted, and The Usos walked out with their titles intact. But, Gable and Benjamin want justice and a rematch. They beat The Usos once; they want to do it again.

WWE SmackDown Live airs on The USA Network at 8:00 pm EST. Make sure to check back after the show for my full recap.
