WWE Executive and 9 time WWE Champion Triple H was in attendance for the historic UFC 205 event this past weekend. This was the first time that UFC has ever held a PPV in New York City. With Triple H being a noted MMA fan, it was no surprise he was in attendance for the big evening.
Speaking to The Independent, Triple H said he was very impressed in Conor McGregor in particular. McGregor headlined the event and made history becoming the first ever athlete in the UFC to hold two title belts at the same time.
Triple H was so impressed that he was very open to Conor swapping the Octagon for the squared circle. Triple H told The Independent that it is definitely a possibility in the future.
“He could come over, he’s got it all, man. He’s got the personality, the skills, the talk. He’s an entertainer, for sure. What does he walk around at? 180lbs? I have smaller guys now in the WWE. We have 200lbs guys who are stars. You don’t need to be 300lbs anymore.”
Triple H then referenced someone who is all too familiar with Conor McGregor, Floyd Mayweather. Mayweather has famously had a public spat with McGregor on social media, but Triple H sees McGregor coming in much the same way that Floyd did back at WrestleMania 24 when he wrestled The Big Show.
“He could do just as well as Floyd Mayweather when he fought the Big Show. That really worked. Conor could do it for sure.”
Triple H then posted this hilarious GIF which shows both Conor McGregor and Vince McMahon strutting to the infamous “McMahon Power Walk.”

McGregor has previously taken shots on social media at the professional wrestling universe, however it was quite evident that he was trying to work-up the wrestlers and fans. McGregor has notably been a wrestling fan for much of his life.
