Tuesday night’s edition of WWE SmackDown Live drew 2.505 million viewers, down from 2.725 million last week. Considering RAW’s viewership and ratings were up this week, the SmackDown number is a disappointment.
Coming off of Sunday’s Survivor Series, SmackDown clearly didn’t have the kind of momentum and interest that RAW did. RAW saw an increase in viewership likely due to the fallout from the Goldberg/Lesnar match. SmackDown had nothing happen during the Survivor Series to draw-in interest from viewers in any significant way.
In the 18-49 age group ratings demographic, SmackDown drew a 0.81, which was also down from last week (0.95). The rating was good enough for the show to finish as the highest rated show on cable in that demographic this week.
The final cable broadcast rating came in at a 1.72. Last week, SmackDown drew a 1.95.
