Tenille Dashwood, formerly known in WWE as Emma, has made her first major post-WWE appearance after her surprise release at the end of last year on October 29th. Her release came days after a match with Asuka on Monday Night Raw.

At Ring of Honor’s Honor Reigns Supreme event, which was streaming for free via ROH’s website, the FITE TV app, and Facebook, Dashwood made a surprising appearance, shocking those watching and in attendance. She announced herself as the sixteenth participant for the sixteen-woman Women of Honor Tournament where she will face Stacy Shadows in first round action. Dashwood was interrupted by Bully Ray and said the fans wanted to see her compete tonight. She ended up teaming with Mandy Leon to face Stacy Shadows and Kelly Klein in a winning effort.

Dashwood made some appearances on the independent circuit after her WWE release, but this would be a huge signing for Ring of Honor if she comes on full-time and would display her talents in a way that WWE didn’t fully. Ring of Honor has gained some traction as a major promotion with their partnership with NJPW and the move to ROH for Emma could be a way to put herself back in front of many fans.
