NJPW World Tag League 2017 Results

NJPW World Tag League 2017 continued on Wednesday from Nagasaki. Wednesday’s event didn’t air live on NJPW World, but they have uploaded the two tournament matches for everyone to watch. This will be the trend until the next live show on December 8th.

We had two A Block matches that saw Minoru Sukuki and Takashi Iizuka (who, as always, terrorized the crowd) take on Hangman Page and Yujiro Takahashi. This one was fought as much on the floor as it was in the ring. Hangman Page still continues to impress me greatly, even holding his own with MiSu. Of course, there were shenanigans in the form of Yujiro’s mic stand, Despy’s presence, and Iizuka’s Iron Finger. But, I think in all the chaos, Page and Yujiro won via disqualification.

The Ornery Uncles squared off against Tacos and Goto next, and you know that I was firmly in The Uncles’ corner. Decent enough match with these four, but nothing to write home about. We did, however, get to see demon Nagata and luchaor Nakanishi, so that’s always fun. Goto got the pin on Nakanishi for the win.
