It’s Monday, and that’s time for WWE RAW results around her. Samoa Joe starts tonight’s show, calling out Roman Reigns, and the two men proceed to go at each other before The Bar show up to. The other members of The Shield come out, and they get beat down, too. Not a good start for the night for The Shield.

Next up, we had Bayley and Mickie James going against Paige and Mandy Rose. Paige has always been great, and Mandy Rose has improved greatly in NT, but Rose especially was woefully outclassed by Bayley and Mickie. And, whoever is writing the promos for Absolution needs to go back to the drawing board; they suck. Decent match with a bit too much outside interference for my taste.

A Woken/Broken Matt Hardy and Bray Wyatt vignette was shown next, and if done right, this could be good….or suck shit in a barrel.

Poor Finn Bálor. One of the most over stars in WWE, and he’s stuck wrestling Curtis Axel. Sigh….

Sheamus and Seth Rollins put on a really good match. As much as I’d prefer to see these guys fight someone else, they always manage to put on great bouts. Sheamus worked Seth’s knee, but Rollins managed to come back and win the match. Nice work from both men.

Another Fatal Four Way to determine Drew Gulak’s opponent next week to see who will face Enzo Amore for his WWE Cruiserweight Title (since Rich Swann was arrested and indefinitely suspended over the weekend, losing his spot). Cedric Alexander won this one and will face Gulak next week.

Cesaro challenged Roman Reigns for the Intercontinental Championship next, and this was a pretty damn good match. Cesaro makes anyone look good, and Reigns was no exception. Reigns is decent in the ring, don’t get me wrong, but there are very few on Cesaro’s level. Cesaro worked on Roman’s shoulder throughout the match, but Super Reigns managed to come back for the win. Good match, though; I’ll give them that.

Alicia Fox and Asuka was scheduled next, but Absolution came out instead. Looks like the three members of Absolution attacked her in the back. The RAW Women’s Division had had enough and came out and attacked Absolution, running them off. The numbers game just got a little more even.

Dean Ambrose and Samoa Joe was up next, and this really wasn’t good. It got worse when Jason Jordan came out and took a seat at the top of the ramp. Boy needs to learn his place…and that place may be back in NXT. He ended up costing Ambrose the match after jumping up on the ring apron and interjecting himself in the match numerous times, and this does not bode well at all for Jordan’s future.

And, after an interminable amount of time, the main event between Kane and Braun Strowman finally got started. It’s not like anyone wanted to see it anyway, but there it was. Supposedly, the winner would face Brock Lesnar at The Royal Rumble for the Universal Title, but somewhere, something went wrong. This was a big old hoss fight, with each man beating the hell out of the other. The match ended in a double count-out, so we still don’t know who Brock’s opponent’s is. Out came the stairs and tables and Braun ended up putting Kane through a table to end the show.
