We’re doing an abbreviated version of the WWE SmackDown Live results tonight, kiddos. It’s been a long weekend, I’ve covered 6 shows, and I am tired. So, tonight, we are just going to hit the high spots of what the blue brand had to deliver.

Shinsuke Nakamura kicked off the show. He talked about who he eliminated from the Rumble, said he’d beat AJ at WrestleMania. Kevin Owens & Sami Zayn come out, bitching about losing at the Royal Rumble. They say they deserve another opportunity at the title and Shinsuke will be facing them at Mania. Shinsuke calls them losers. Cue AJ coming out to have his say. He says the dream match between him and Nakamura will happen at Mania, but before then, they should team up to take on Owens and Zayn. They say no, and AJ and Shinsuke put fists to their faces. Daniel Bryan makes the match official.

Bryan announces that next week, Owens and Zayn will face off to see who faces AJ for the WWE Title at Fastlane.

Fatal Four Way for the #1 Contendership to the US Title between Kofi Kingston, Jinder Mahal, Zack Ryder, & Rusev. Decent enough match between the four men, and I was wanting Rusev to win…especially since it’s Rusev Day. There was too much pancake BS in this match; that whole part of New Day’s gimmick needs to go away. It’s obnoxious. And, what I wanted happened. Rusev won via submission on Kofi and will face Bobby Roode on next week’s show for the US Title.

The Usos came out for a promo, talk about struggles and all the teams they beat, and then The Bludgeon Brothers came out, crossing paths with The Usos. Nothing happened, but I am still waiting for Harper to wail on someone with one of those sledgehammers. I have no idea who they wrestled, but they beat the hell out of them.

I don’t know if Kevin Dunn was drunk or just discovered SnapChat filters for the first time today, but SmackDown Live had some really ugly, really stupid, really silly graphics. Stop. Nope. Go away.

Charlotte comes out to talk about the Rumble and Ronda Rousey debuting in WWE. The Riott Squad comes out, and Ruby calls Charlotte a cheap imitation of her father. Brawl ensues, and they take out Charlotte. Carmella comes out and they do a stupid “try to cash in” segment. It was ridiculous.

Baron Corbin and Tye Dillinger had a match that I could not care less about. Corbin spent the match demolishing Tye, allowing Dillinger only a brief moment of offense. End Of Days and it was over.

Breezango squared off with Chad Gable & Shelton Benjamin in a fun little match after a confrontation earlier in the show. Breezango lost, unfortunately. I wish they’d get more than comedy spots and squash matches.

Main event time with AJ and Shinsuke taking on Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn. AJ and Nakamura are always great together, whether as a team or as opponents; they just play well with and off of each other. There was some friction with Sami and Kevin during the match (building to next week’s match between the two), with Sami pretty much leaving the match and standing at the top of the ramp to watch Kevin go at it on his own. Sami comes back, and he and Kevin bicker as they beat on AJ. AJ pushes Owens into Sami, knocking him to the floor, and Sami really leaves this time. Owens tries to leave through the crowd, AJ throws him back in the ring, and one Kinshasa later, AJ and Shinsuke pick up the win.
